At this site there was sort of hesitation from the people in the town. Apparently two other medical missions came within months before we came. One medical mission had a hidden agenda of selling the medicines that the doctors prescribed during the outreach. The second medical team that came ran out of medicines. We found this out around almost lunch time. We were wondering why there were hardly any people showing up.
It was close to lunch time when people finally realized that we had plenty of medicines, however the one they were thankful for was the part that they experienced the love of God through the testimonies and team members willing to give time to talk and pray with them throughout the outreach.
God continues to impact the Filipino people and was being known throughout the mountain areas of Palawan. Strongholds by amulets from witchcraft and idolatry were broken because of the truth of Jesus’ sacrifice and the grace for His children. Amazing love has broken the chains of the people we met. They gained the freedom by Jesus becoming their Lord and Savior. Over 500 people were seen.
